Design Project: A Room-by-Room AV Plan With the Network Included
This is a design project. The plan was not installed. A focused upgrade can account for new components and equipment already in the home, and this design addressed selected rooms and the connections supporting them.
The challenge
The home lacked a central wiring point. The proposed room updates needed a practical arrangement for cabling, networking and control.
What we did
- Developed the room equipment, network, wiring and control scope together
- Included Savant control design for the selected rooms
- Proposed reusing an existing television and soundbar alongside changes to the main entertainment area
The result
The design coordinated the proposed entertainment updates with their supporting network and wiring. It was not installed.
Systems used
Room AV, Savant control design, networking, cabling and proposed equipment reuse; design scope only
