Smart homes on Marco Island

If you spend part of the year away from your Marco Island home, we can help plan the controls and information you want to reach remotely. Start with the rooms, cameras and supported devices that matter to you, then review the network and permissions behind them.

We're based in Naples and serve Marco Island with Control4 automation, Lutron and Vantage lighting control, motorized shades, cameras, audio and networking. For a house or condo, we work from the property's actual access, exposure and installation requirements.

What we plan for on Marco Island

Coastal exposure and equipment placement

For equipment exposed to salt air, heat or rain, we review suitable housings, mounting and connections. We consider ventilation and water exposure when planning indoor equipment space too.

WattBox surge protection and battery backup can be considered for selected equipment. Runtime and recovery depend on the configuration; backup power does not guarantee camera recording or internet access throughout an outage.

Condo rules and wiring access

Before work in a condo or association-managed property, share the rules for drilling, cable routes and exterior equipment. We review the proposed scope against those requirements and coordinate with the appropriate project contacts. Required approvals need to be in place before installation.

Wireless lighting controls, including appropriate Lutron RadioRA 3 products, can offer options when new cable routes are limited. Existing wiring, fixtures, power and supported devices still need review. Wireless equipment does not remove every installation requirement.

A clear plan for time away

We review supported camera viewing, lights, locks and climate access with you. Leak or temperature alerts can be discussed where compatible equipment supports them. The design should make clear which accounts, connections and permissions are needed for each function.

With suitable Araknis and OvrC equipment, remote management can help us check status and address some faults. Internet loss, a physical connection problem or a failed component may still require a visit. We'll explain what to expect from the selected setup before you rely on it while away.

Marco Island FAQs

Can you work in a Marco Island condo?

Yes. We review available wiring, access and the association's rules first. Suitable wireless controls can be considered where new cable is limited, with the required approvals and compatibility checks.

Can you help with technology in a seasonal Marco Island home?

We can plan supported remote viewing, home controls, alerts and OvrC management for compatible equipment. Some issues can be handled remotely; loss of power, internet access or a physical fault may still need on-site help.

Does salt air affect outdoor equipment?

It can. We choose equipment, mounting and connections for the actual exposure, and discuss placement and service access. Outdoor-rated equipment still needs appropriate care over time.
